WILDMONKEYTATTOO is a private studio based in Gouda, the Netherlands. A city located between major cities such as Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotterdam, and Utrecht.
Our studio is known for Japanese style tattoo, created in a calm and focused environment. In addition to our resident artists, we also regularly invite guest tattoo artists from various styles and backgrounds.

We share updates about guest artists and upcoming projects through our website, so please keep your eyes on our latest news if you are interested.
Our studio works by appointment only, and we do not accept walk-ins.

Katsu was born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan.

Before he moved and worked in Utrecht for 3 years, he had established his own tattoo studio WILDMONKEYTATTOO for 23 years in his hometown Hiroshima since 1995 after made a career out of a self-taught tattoo artist.

His known style is the Japanese style tattoo with his rich experiences. He especially loves and enjoys coloring works as well as black and gray works.

Aki was born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan.

She is an experienced at WILDMONKEYTATTOO since 2007 and the wife of Katsu.

She has a lot of knowledge and experience through consulting and supporting clients. She also does photo documentation of Katsu’s work as a photographer and creates short videos as well. Click here for the gallery.
